Description

Excellent in both wet and upland soils, this tree has a coarser, less deeply incised leaf and acorns borne on 2-4" stalks. It shows good transplant success. Named a 1999 GreatPlants for the Great Plains Award winner. A bold 50' in height and 40-50' spread.  A with a narrow, rounded, open shape with beautiful yellow to deep red fall color. Grown best in Zone 4-8 in full sun.
